The bit the hotel does not tell you

The river view is worth asking about at booking, not on arrival. One guest paid for it and described opening the shutters early in the morning before the sun got high. The Arno side also means you are facing the water and the bridges, which is a different experience to an interior room. If you want that, say so when you reserve. It is the single upgrade that changes the stay most.
